The hotel was great with its unique 1940s decor and comfy beds. The location was fantastic, just minutes from the scenic spots and a supermarket!
the room lacked a fridge.

No complaints whatsoever, really, had a very pleasant stay on a business trip. The rooms were cheap and airy with large bathrooms...
The area was not very nice.

Location - on one side - 10 minutes walk to the historic center, tram under the windows, bars including the opposite bakery. Friendly staff, kettle in the room. Eaten in the center, a restaurant with excellent cuisine and inexpensive (there are many of them), near the hotel did not risk. The city itself is terrific!
The hotel is on a street in Marseille - the contingent corresponding, very noisy, sleep was actually not possible, in the evening to go somewhere not very much wanted and, in my opinion, was not safe. Since there were problems with the parking, the car was left on the street, until morning - free of charge, and then - Attention! - 3 hours cost 4 euros. and 4 hours - 16 euros, then - on an accrual, for 10 hours - 35 euros! note that on the neighboring streets are different rates.

The location is perfect, just 3 stops from the train station! I loved that there's a supermarket right next to the hotel. The staff was kind and patient.

The hotel is in good position, and the tramway station is just a few steps from it.
Yes! The double room we have asked was, at the hotel, a single one! A big bed, yes, but just one towel set! small room.

The hotel was easy to find, you can see the sign. Cool old lifts and in general you can see quite an old building, but inside everything is clean and new. It was cleaned every day. At reception, a man sits around the clock, I came back a couple of times at 2 a.m. and he is always in place. I didn't take breakfast, I don't know.
There was no kettle in the room or downstairs near the reception desk, there was no corner with kettle, tea and coffee (although there was a pay-per-view machine). The desk in the room was a bit small for a laptop. Every morning when you leave, you have to give the key to the reception, but you won't lose it.

The location is excellent, with a nearby tram stop (line T1) and the Guillotiere Metro just a few blocks away. There are about 6 tram stops to Part Dieu station. Perrache Station is only two stops away. There is a river nearby. The main square of Bellecour can be reached on foot in 15 minutes, enjoying the wonderful views of the bridges, river and Basilica. Several supermarkets, Lidl, Carrefour and a Chinese supermarket are nearby. The room was spacious and bright. The room was very clean. They cleaned and changed towels every day. The breakfasts were great! There were baked goods and fruit, cereal, sausages, cheeses, etc. For the first time, the hotel didn't charge the day it arrived. They paid on the day they left.
The water in the shower is virtually unregulated. It changes its temperature to too cold or too hot. The bath is not covered by anything, so the water can pour onto the floor. There is no shower holder, you have to hold it in your hands.

Close to the city centre, nice breakfast. That is all, rest only disadvantages.
No air conditioning, uncomfortable double bed and pillows. The room was muggy, and there was loud due to location.

I had a fantastic time at this hotel, as it's just a pleasant 15-minute walk to the vibrant Place Bellecour and has lovely dining options just a few steps away, providing plenty of local flavor to explore .

Excellent location, close to the Rhone river and tram stop. Very nice and friendly staff. Nice continental breakfast. Good value for money.
Facilities pretty old, the hotel would need a substantial refurbishment.
